Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is an accreditation issued by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). This is an international trade association for IT auditors. The CISA title is globally recognized. The membership of ISACA offers benefits such as reduced rates for seminars, being kept informed about international developments and participation in networks of IT auditors.
You can obtain the right to use the CISA title by, among other things, passing an ISACA exam. This exam is conducted several times a year. We offer a CISA course to prepare for the exam. Experienced CISAs lead this course and present practical case studies in addition to the CISA training materials. Prof. Ronald Paans Ph.D MSc RE, a professor at the Postgraduate Training IT Audit, supervises this course.
Our instructors have years of experience in the IT audit field and are qualified RE and CISA, and certified QSA.
As a training institute, we are registered in the Central Register for Short Vocational Training (CRKBO).
What we can offer you
- The objective of the CISA course is to prepare for the CISA exam. A precondition is that you have knowledge about IT and IT Audit. We guide you through the materials in interactive mode, where all subjects of the examination are discussed;
- The course consists of six sessions of four hours each. The cost per participant is € 1950, - exclusive of 21% VAT. You should bear the costs for registration for the CISA exam and the CISA course materials, payable to ISACA.
- By applying practical case studies during the course, you are presented with recognizable examples and learn the application of the CISA knowledge in practice. Because of this course structure you internalize knowledge in a shorter timeframe than when you would independently read through the CISA course manual only.
